Suburgatory

Watch TV Series. Suburgatory (derived from the words “suburban” and “purgatory”) is a comedy television series which centers with the life of a divorced father who decides to get away from New York City to the suburbs so he can give his 16-year-old daughter a better life but this decision has the daughter wondering if they just entered the world of The Stepford Wives after they see how ‘perfect’ their new locale is, right down to the neighbors who welcome them into the cul-de-sac. Stars Jeremy Sisto, Jane Levy, Cheryl Hines, Carly Chaikin, Katelyn Pacitto, Kara Pacitto, Allie Grant and Alan Tudyk. Single father George Altman is doing his best to raise his sixteen-year-old daughter Tessa in the big city. When he discovers a box of condoms in her bedroom, though, he decides the time has come to move her to a more wholesome and nurturing environment: the suburbs. But behind the beautiful homes and perfect lawns lurk the Franken-moms, spray tans, nose jobs, and Red Bull-guzzling teens who have nothing in common with Tessa. It’s a whole new world, one that makes George wonder if they haven’t jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire.
