The Day of the Triffids

Watch TV Series. A meteor shower blinds nearly the entire population of Earth and Bill Masen believes himself to be the last sighted person on the planet. Triffids are a mobile, carnivorous plant that Bill cultivates for their oil. When the Triffids get loose and are released on the blind population, they begin to feed on and kill the helpless humans. Following mysterious bright lights in the sky, the human race is rendered blind and helpless. The survivors find themselves stalked by sentient flesh-eating plants.
